Senestime-SUXD Website Redesign

About
SenseTime, founded in Hong Kong in 2014, is a leading AI software company committed to shaping a better AI-empowered future through innovation. SUXD is the website for SenseTime's User Experience Design department, serving as a design resource and service platform for all teams within the company. In this iteration, we redefined SUXD's functionality and radically overhauled the platform's structure and visuals, enhancing user accessibility and usability.

My Role
As the UX designer for this project, I was involved in the end-to-end design process, from user research to high-fidelity prototype designs. I identified a clear design direction for SUXD that fully aligns with the company's AI technology style while maximizing the user experience.

Problem

Low utility and readability, resulting in low user usability.

Qualitative Research

We conducted 11 in-depth stakeholder interviews, including 4 UX designers, 2 product managers, and 5 engineers.

Insight from interview

1. Component libraries can boost the efficiency of UX and UI designers.

2. PM can quickly and easily develop product requirements using the platform's resource library.

3. Frontend engineers can learn a lot of design fundamentals through interface design-related articles, which facilitates smoother communication with designers.

4. A tech-feeling interface can attract more people to view and explore the platform.

Persona

How might we improve the usability of our SUXD resources and services platform to enable our internal cross-functional teams to collaborate more efficiently?
